HOT COCOA & DATE SYRUP

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup preferred milk
  • 1/2 cup filtered water
  • 2 teaspoons cacao powder
  • 2 teaspoons Med Cuisine Medjool Date Syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: grated dark chocolate for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Heat Liquids:

    • In a small saucepan, combine the milk and water. Heat over medium until it reaches a simmer.
  2. Blend:

    • Pour the warm milk mixture into a blender. Add the cacao powder, date syrup, and vanilla extract. If your blender is not vented, allow the liquid to cool slightly to prevent pressure buildup.
  3. Mix Until Frothy:

    • Blend on high for about 1 minute, or until the mixture is frothy.
  4. Serve:

    • Pour into a mug and, if desired, sprinkle with grated dark chocolate for an extra touch of luxury.
